Do I have to purchase a dragon to use the mobile app?
Yes at this time you will have to purchase either a Pure-bred dragon which comes with an egg. Or a cloned dragon that comes with a scale.
Pygmy Dragons do not have a mobile app component to them they are for the VR application that will launch at a later date.
For this experience, you will need to purchase a dragon, and then there will be a required subscription service. Subscription service is still being determined. You will need an AR-capable mobile phone that can connect to the internet.
What can I do in the Mobile Phone APP Dragon Federation: Monitor?
The Mobile app will release with the basic function of caring for your egg. The Mobile APP will function initially as an ultra-sound device.
You will need to use a heat or cool function to keep your egg at the right temperature for growth until it hatches.
You will be able to tap or rub the screen, talk and play music and the dragonet will react to you.
Post hatching you will be able to feed and provide basic care for your dragon in the Mobile app.
Does the dragon fetus start growing as soon as its shipped? Or only as soon as you scan the code?
Your Dragon starts growing once you "activate" it within the Dragon Federation: Monitor app.
You will be emailed a Dragon ID code once you complete checkout. This code is the code you enter in the mobile app to activate dragon growth in the app.
(Please note that the app is in a preview state. All dragons will be reset at launch.)
How long till my egg hatches?
Incubation times vary with breeds. Checkout the breeds page to see what information Dragon Federation has about available dragons.
How many breeds of Dragons will you release?
We have currently released 3 breeds as of this writing ( 11/12/2024 ).
However we plan to release 200+ breeds as long as there is support for this project.
What is stabling?
The AI will need to be stored and accessed regularly for this experience. The AI is crucial in making your dragon a companion and unique to you and the interactions you have had with it.
Stabling fees are a way for the Dragon Federation to recoup those costs. The team wants this cost to be a benefit to you as the customer as well.
